How to play

The rule

Each cat can appear only once in every row and only once in every column.

Placing a cat

Pick a cat from the palette at the bottom, then tap an empty tile. The first tap leaves a pencil mark, the second tap on the same tile places the cat for real.

Removing a cat

Tap a tile you filled in yourself. Tiles that came with the level cannot be removed.

Lives

You have three hearts per level. Placing the wrong cat costs one heart, but it never ruins the board — the wrong cat is simply not placed. If you run out of hearts, you can watch a short ad to keep going right where you were, or restart the level.

Hint

The hint button points at a tile that can only hold one possible cat. You start with a few free hints; when they run out, you can watch a short ad to get another.

Frequently asked

Is there a timer?

There is no countdown and a level can never fail because of time. How fast you solve only affects your score on the daily leaderboard — you can still take as long as you like.

Does the game show ads?

Yes. Rewarded ads are always your choice (revive, extra hints), and short ads may appear between levels.

Do I need an internet connection?

The game itself is fully playable offline and requires no account. A connection is only used for ads and anonymous analytics.

Can I keep my favourite cats?

The cat set changes every 25 levels. If you have a favourite, pin it under Settings › Kittens.

I lost my progress after reinstalling.

Progress is stored on the device only, so deleting the app removes it. There is no cloud save yet.

Are there in-app purchases?

No. The game contains no purchases.
